You stand at the threshold of your initiation. Over the next twelve weeks, you will transition from a novice practitioner to a disciplined wielder of computational and theoretical arts. This codex defines your path, your rituals, and the expectations that govern your ascent.

Failure to follow the codex will result in chaos. Precision, rigor, and consistency are your allies.

  • Key mathematical structures and assumptions

• Must include:

  • A dedicated slide titled “Obstacles & Unknowns”, containing:

    • Concepts not yet mastered
    • Blocking issues (technical or theoretical)

This is not a weakness—it is a required signal of awareness.

Objective: Deliver a complete and coherent narrative of your work.

• Must include:

At this stage, you are expected to demonstrate autonomy and synthesis.

Your work must be structured and reproducible. Disorder is forbidden.

• All artifacts must reside in a GitHub repository within the lab organization:

  • Source code
  • Presentation slides
  • Reports

• The repository must contain:

  • A branch named: review

  • A report written in:

    • LaTeX or
    • Markdown

• The repository structure should remain clean, modular, and documented.

Your training is iterative. Each week follows a strict cycle.

• One meeting per week with your supervisor(s)

• You must come prepared with:

• All code must be submitted via Pull Request (PR) to the review branch

• Requirements:

  • Ensure code is functional and minimally documented

• Each week:

  • Update it with new findings
  • Submit updates via PR to the review branch

Each week, you must produce two slides, submitted with your PR and presented during the meeting:

Slide 2 — Shadows Remaining

• What you do not understand

• Ambiguities
• Blocking points

Clarity about ignorance is a requirement, not a flaw.

Every assignment is a creature. Every defeated creature is points. Points raise you through seven titles, from Initiate to Hierophant. Hidden Sigils are bestowed for deeds beyond the pattern. Three Forbidden Classes await those who climb high enough.

Your log of creatures defeated lives in your own project repo, in progress.md. Your supervisor reviews it weekly with your code.
